The Search is Over...

Thank Goodness!!! As most of you know we have been looking for a job for Chris ever since he graduated which was back in May. I was looking in March, but really searching and looking since May. I had a little bit more time then Chris since he has been working two jobs. We both knew that it wasn't instantly that we were going to have the grand job or career right after he graduated, but we just wanted something were he could be home in the evenings because I'm tired of being single mom and yes I'm complaining, but I can because this is my blog. We have probably applied to over 50 company's or so no joke out of those company's we had about 12 interviews The problem was the pay wasn't there or they wanted graveyard shifts or evening shifts which we were trying to avoid because he hasn't been home in the evenings ever since we have been married which is 5 years. I'm not going to lie this is probably been the most stressful thing in our life's right now. Sometimes we would doubt what are we doing wrong, but I always kept positive because I know that there was a plan for us that the Lord definitely was testing our faith. A couple of weeks ago I was looking for a job on indeed.com which I highly recommend if you are looking for a job. It's just a website were company's post jobs and it tells you how long it's been posted and then all the jobs descriptions. I have spent many hours on that website. I came across a job Operations Officer for Net Deposit that is affiliated with Zions Bancorporation. I looked at the job description looked at the qualifications as all the many other jobs that I had applied for Chris. I sent the resume didn't think anything of it. A couple weeks later an HR Recruiter called asked Chris some questions and set up an interview with him which was last Thursday. Chris felt the interview went well and he was told that they would get back to him next week which is this week. We were all nervous because we both really wanted the job. The hours were great the pay is where we wanted to be the benefits are good. It was one of those things too good to be true. I did feel really good about this one. The call came yesterday from the HR Recruiter telling Chris that the lady he interviewed with was really impressed with him and they offered him the job. What a relief and yes we did take it. Although we will miss the benefits of UPS and Chris getting to see my brother and dad everyday more importantly we will have the benefits of Chris being home. I think one thing I'm really excited is that I won't have to go to events or activities in the evenings by myself and have one more person ask where's Chris and my response is "He's at work!" Congrats!!! Chris you deserve it!!!
