Jackson's Birthday Party

Jackson and cousins at firehouse

Jackson my nephew wanted a Fireman birthday party while they were in town. My sister Kathryn booked a tour so we could take a tour of a new firehouse that was just built 6 months ago in Murray, Utah. It was a lot of fun. The fireman are on shift every 24 hours so they sleep at the firehouse. They had a really nice kitchen so they can cook all there meals there. We took the tour, the fireman got out a fire hose so the kids could feel the pressure of the water coming out of the hose. They let each kid that wanted to take a trun. It wasn't the full pressure that would have knocked kids on there you know what. At the end of the tour they let the kids crawl in at look at the fire truck. Well, we were just about to leave and the fireman told Jackson I don't do this often and since you have the same birthday as my grandma. He said that he couldn't do it for all the kids because it would take all day. He told Jackson he would take him for a ride in the firetruck ( just around the building). Jackson's face lit up like he was on cloud nine it was the funniest thing and a little boys dream come true. The fireman even let him put on the headset to look really official.

My sisters family got to ride in the back and don't know if
you can, but you can kind of see John-David's head

While they were going around the building
the fireman turn on the lights and siren for them.
