No Diapers and No Curlers Please!

I was checking on Morgan today to make sure she was a sleep for her nap and this is what I found.

If you can't tell diaper on floor child not wearing anything!

Now this is not the first time she has taking off her diaper because this has been an on going battle about her wearing diapers for the past month and yes you may say well maybe she is ready for potty training. Morgan wants nothing to do with it. This is a first taking a nap without a diaper. I let her take her whole nap without it on because I wasn't going to wake her up just to put the diaper on. I figured if she pees I'll just change the sheets. She did really good her whole nap I heard her talking and I was going to get her and I was just finishing up a phone conversation with my sister too late she peed all over her sheets oh well again not the first time shes peed on them. She just wants to be in the nude all the time. I keep telling her she is not to pee on mommy's new carpet or you will be in big trouble.
I think this mornings massacre of the diaper was the worse of all the times she has destroyed her diapers. I came and got her like I always do. She was naked and her diaper was unrecognizable she had shredded to pieces and more.I have never see the inside of a diaper before and I got the chance this morning. I was so gross out I had to wash my hands so many times. I'm just glad she hadn't pooped and that was everywhere.

Then I got an idea for Morgan's hair for church tomorrow. I wanted it to be curly how my mom used to put curlers in our hair for church. I went to the store bought the curlers. I gave Morgan a pep talk about how there not very comfortable sleeping, but your hair will be really cute for church. I showed her the pictures of her cousin who had curlers in her hair because my sister had blog about it a few weeks ago. She sat there for about the 25 minutes it took me to do it first time wanted to get it right. We got her all ready for bed laid her down started bawling she wanted the curlers out. Morgan started to pull out the curlers I want them out! I had a feeling this was going to happen. Oh well it brought back memories when my mom curled our hair everyday Saturday night for church. Chris asked me If I was going to put my hair in the curlers actually that might be fun. I will have to try to put curlers in Morgan's hair either during the day or whens he is older.
My little baby is becoming a little girl!

I can totally relate.
Jaren wants nothing to do with diapers or potty training - maybe they'll form a nudist colony.
Abby sat patiently while I put curlers in her hair, just to rip them out at bedtime - even after the pep talk. :)
Morgan's hair did look cute this morning though.

All I can say is bring on the duck tape- strap that diaper on baby! I just love her cute cute curlers- she is such a little doll. Over night curlers is the only way my girls hair will hold a curl- when we first tried it I gave them the "take them out and you'll be in trouble" pep talk- that seemed to work ;)
