Saving Money!

We all know that I like to save money any way I can. I'm pretty proud of myself this week and last week this is the lot that I got.

I did go to three different stores. I planned it that way because the items that I got were well worth it. I planned when Morgan was in pre-school so I only had one child with me which makes it a lot easier. Many of you may say well I just don't have time to go to three different stores which is completely fine. Yes, it does take time, but the key is I make time. The money I'm saving and the out of pocket expense that I pay is well worth it to me to go to that extra store. I don't know if you can see all of the items in the picture so I will list them;

24 cans of vegetables ( I plan to turn it in to baby food, not all of it but some)

6 tubes of toothpaste (6.4oz)

9 boxes of cereal

12 pks of gum

3 dental floss

2 toothbrushes

1 box of 96 ct huggies diapers

3 boxes 280 count Kleenex

1 hairspray

1 box 18ct tampons

1 baby lotion

1 hair color ( not sure when I'm going to do this)

My total out of pocket with all the coupons, sales, and promotions that the stores offer

no joke $23.57.

Then one of the stores I did there rebate because I was buying their products any ways I get $10.00 back plus I got another $1.00 coupon off for there store to use the next time. So really my out of pocket is $12.57 can you believe that!!! A savings of $106.10 this is why I use coupons plus I like too and I don't like to pay full price for something I don't have to. Some of the transactions I actually made money off of them too. I basically got most of my items for free. That's why I like using coupons because it makes my budget last longer.

People ask me all the time what food coupons are you using out of the newspaper, or we don't buy the junk that the coupons are offered in the newspaper and I don't either. This doesn't look like junk to me it's everyday stuff that I use. I use the store coupons, use newspaper coupons, and Internet coupons, but I only use the ones that I would use.

Diapers coupons are a big one for me right now. I try not to pay more then $3.00 to $4.00 dollars for a package. Then people say well isn't Costco cheaper for diapers nope not when your paying $3.00 to $4.00 pk or getting them practically for free. I have nothing against Costco or if you get your diapers there. I'm just stating what I prefer to pay for diapers. They also don't have to be name brand that is just the better deal.
