Time Flies! Birthdays,Pre-school Graduation, Anniversary Trip, Dirty Run, July 4th

I can't believe it has been a few months since I haven't posted anything. Our family has had a lot happen in last few months. I'll start off that this year Chris and I have turned 30 years old. Morgan reminds us everyday that her parents are 30 years old. I turned 30 in April and Chris was in May. I brought a cake to Chris's work and surprise him with it along with tinting our Maxima windows that Chris and I have talked about for the last four years so I finally just went and did it without him knowing and he loved it.

At the end of May Morgan graduated from the 3 year old pre-school class and will be attending the 4 year old class in the fall again. She loves school and can't wait for it to start.
My favorite part that I would like to tell you is Chris and I celebrated 8 years of being married. The official date is June 26. We went to Las Vegas to celebrate and actually that is where we went for our honeymoon was St. George and Las Vagas. The original plan was to go to San Fransisco this year, but we had such little time. Chris suggested Las Vegas I said no at first, but then he said what if we went to go see Celion Dion in Las Vegas which I have been wanting to see for awhile now. I said Yes. It was the best concert ever. If you have not see Celion Dion in concert you are missing out, even Chris enjoy her concert. We weren't able to get pictures because you can't bring cameras in.

Some of the other highlights of the trip were Chris and I favorite show to watch together is Pawn Stars so we went to the shop just to say that we have been there. It was really fun. No we didn't see any of the guys on the show and we expected that.

We went to the Hoover Dam, walked on the new built bridge that relieves the traffic from the Hoover Dam.

Relaxed a lot, swam in the pool that was at our hotel. It was such a weird feeling not having to worry about children, but just myself. Chris and I went to the state line where Buffalo Bills and Whiskey Pete hotels are at in Prim Valley. We rode the roller coaster Desperado. I guess after 8 years I really didn't realize that my husband is not quite the thrill seeker as I am. I looked over during the ride and Chris has his arms so tight to the handle bars and he wasn't even laughing like I was. We rode right in the front and I asked Chris after the ride was over if he liked it and he said yes. I asked him well how come you weren't laughing and he said because I couldn't see the track and what we were going to go through next so I was hanging on so tight. I said that is the whole point of sitting in the front the not knowing what is coming up next,that is my favorite part about roller coasters. The next day Chris's arms were so sore because he was hanging on to the bars so tight.

We went to the Las Vegas temple we did some temple work and then ate in the temple cafeteria

We went to a shark aquarium @ the hotel Mantlyn Bay that was pretty neat.

We did a little deal shopping and I was glad Chris was with me because he normal is not when I shop my deals. He was so proud when we went to Target and we walked out by only paying .91 cents out of our own pocket. I did have some gift cards, but it would have cost us more if I didn't use them

July 2nd ran in 4 mile course @ Wheeler Farm some of it in mud. Next year I'm going to be a little more prepared to run 4 miles. My shoes were a little small because I knew I would just throw them away after. Yeah my longest toe/toe nail is purple because it is bruised. Couldn't really walk the next day on them. It was so still so much fun.

4th of July campfire in backyard with our new campfire pit,

and made smores,then had bought some fireworks earlier

and had a little firework show afterwards.

It was great with all the other fireworks that was going on all around us.
